Product Description Brighten new construction projects with the Juno 5" Recessed Light Housing; it is IC-rated and UL-listed for safe, efficient installation in residential or light commercial ceilings. Designed for ceilings up to 1" thick, this durable galvanized steel housing includes adjustable Real Nail 3 bar hangers for a secure fit. An integrated Air-Loc gasket minimizes air leaks to boost energy efficiency. This version includes push-in electrical connectors for fast installation. The medium base socket accepts a variety of incandescent bulbs (A19, BR30, R20, PAR20, PAR30) and is compatible with Juno 5" baffle trims. CSA and UL listed for damp locations and through-branch wiring. Includes a pre-wired junction box with knockouts for easy setup. 1-year limited warranty. From the Manufacturer The IC20W 5-Inch Downlight Incandescent Housing is an IC rated, energy efficient Air-Loc sealed new construction housing. The housing has a drop socket with spring to accommodate various trim installations and contains a medium base porcelain socket with nickel-plated copper screw shell that accepts an incandescent light bulb. Bulb wattage ratings and apertures are based on trim selection. When used with Air-Loc gasket (ALG5, sold separately), stops the movement of air, in or out, reducing heating and cooling costs. Installation of the IC20W is made easy with the Real Nail 3 telescoping system featuring bugle-headed nails for easy repositioning of housing in joist construction and integral T-bar clip to secure housing in suspended ceiling grid. The IC20W is supplied with a pre-wired junction box with (5) 1/2-Inch and (1) 3/4-Inch knockouts, (4) non-metallic sheathed cable connectors, ground wire. A shadow-free, knife-edge trim design blends smoothly in to the ceiling and allows architectural continuity with Aculux trims (sold separately). UL Listed, C-UL/CSA certified for through-branch wiring, with a maximum of (8) 12-AWG conductors. Wet location listed when using a 210, 211 or 212 trim. The wet listing also includes the 215 and 216 trims when used with PAR30 outdoor rated bulbs. All trims are sold separately and come in a wide variety of styles and finishes to customize to your needs, including the 201, 203, 204, 205, 206, 207, 208, 209, 529, 688 or 689 trims. Meets Washington State IECC and MEC energy codes as tested per ASTM-E283 and conforms to City of Chicago IP requirements.
